Battlefield 2042 Season 2 Set To Release In Late August On All Platforms
DICE’s Battlefield is one of the most popular titles in FPS history. Since the release of Battlefield 2042, the developers have been releasing content to improve the game from its initial state. Today, the team has revealed Season 2: Masters of Arms which will be available on all platforms on August 30th. Players can look forward to a ton of new content in the title to enjoy such as a new Specialist, weapons, vehicles, cosmetics and more.
Players will have access to Stranded, a new map where they will fight in a drained lake near to a shipwrecked tanker, the Starg Ceres. Players that access the tanker will engage in close-quarters combat with a ton of cover and various objectives. Furthermore, Charlie Crawford joins the battle as the game’s newest specialist. Crawford has access to a Mounted Vulcan minigun and can assist his teammates with revives and ammunition.
Moreover, players will have access to three new weapons including the AM40, Avancys and the PF51. The new concussion grenade allows players to confuse and disorient their enemies on the battlefield. Also, players can get their hands on Assignments which is a new feature that allows for unlocking weapons that were in previous Battlefield titles through All-Out Warfare. Some of the weapons include the M16A3 and M60E4. The developers will be adding more weapons in the future. Players will also be able to create a new sandbox experience using the Builder Capabilities.
