Subway Canada Partners with Twitch Gamers For Hungry Children Relief

Gaming For Good

The gaming community is always looking for a reason to help others. This coming Wednesday Food Banks Canada and Subway Canada are partnering with two Canadian Twitch streamers. Their goal? To help feed hungry children in Canada. This partnership is a part of Subway’s Never Miss Lunch initiative that is now entering its fourth year. A press release about the initiative and the partnership provides more info.

Subway Canada

In honor of the fourth year of the Never Miss Lunch Subway is happy to be partnering with two Canadian Twitch Streamers. Of course these two streamers are Nick Andrew of AR12GAMING and Valérie Vézina of MadameZoum. These streamers are giving gamers the opportunity to play games with their favorite streamers. Nick and Valérie’s Instagram pages provide details on how fans can enter their contests. The streamers will then stream with their fans live on Wednesday the 22nd of June where they will discuss the initiative and and reward viewers with Subway gift cards.

The Never Miss Lunch Initiative pledges $1 from every footlong sold in-restaurant on Wednesday, June 22. The money, with the help of Food Banks of Canada, will go towards providing nutritious food to kids in need during the summer break. According to Food Banks Canada children account for 33% of food bank visits. Of course, this is a huge issue across Canada.

The streams for the initiative are taking place on Wednesday June 22nd. They will be available to watch on AR12GAMING and MadameZoum’s Twitch channels. Anything helps, and who knows you may even get a Subway card for helping out.
