A Horrific Experience
Horror is certainly coming to Steam Next Fest this June. Today Wales Interactive revealed that a limited time demo of their FPS horror Co-Op shooter, Sker Ritual, is coming to Steam Next Fest. A press release provides more details about what is coming in the demo. Additionally, players can watch the reveal trailer from last month for a glimpse of the terrifying action.
Sker ritual acts as the spiritual successor to the British horror: Maid of Sker. Arriving back on Sker Island players can prepare to face all the horrors it has to offer. Sker Ritual gives players an experience in round based co-op survival. Of course, players will once again face off against hordes of quiet ones, new and old. Either alone, or with up to 3 others, players will face off against normal and elite quiet ones, each with their own special abilities that players will need to adapt to in order to survive.
The demo arriving with Steam Next Fest will feature player characters with horror themed masks. Once they choose their own, players can hop into solo or online play on one map: The Cursed Lands of Lavernock. The demo will include a sample of story objectives but will have a 30-minute time lock per game with unlimited replays.
Sker Ritual is an upcoming game coming to PC this Summer. It will release on Steam. The demo will be available during Steam Next Fest from June 13th-20th. So, will you be playing the demo?
