Sony Has Revealed New Line-up of Games For the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra Tiers

PlayStation Plus Revamp Ramping Up!

PlayStation has finally revealed a partial list of the games that players should expect to be available as part of the new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers are set to include a wide variety of fan-favorite games on day one in its new line-up including Assasin’s Creed Valhalla, Demon’s Souls, NBA 2K22, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, and many more. PlayStation 1 and PSP games are also set to join the PlayStation Plus Premium tier, these games are all gaming classics such as Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, Tekken 2, Mr. Driller, and many more.

PlayStation also reveals that select PS1 and PSP games will have a brand new interface with new menus that should allow users to rewind gameplay and even save the game at any time. Surprisingly, players who purchased any PlayStation or PSP games digitally in the past will not be required to pay any extra costs to play those titles.

For PlayStation Plus Essential, the base $10 subscription service, will continue to add new free games on the first Tuesday of every month as usual. On the other hand, new monthly refreshes will occur in the middle of every month for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, with no guarantee of the number of games added in each month.

Ubisoft has also announced it is bringing Ubisoft+ Classics to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers on launch with 25 games and another 25 games to be added before the end of the year. Ubisoft+ is also coming to both PlayStation and Xbox consoles, but there is no set date for that as of right now.
