Today Mercat Games is happy to reveal their new pirate stealth action game, Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean. A press release about the game provides details on all of the elements players can expect. Additionally, a reveal trailer gives players an early look at the type of gameplay Frigato is aiming for.
“In Frigato, we combine the elements of pirate adventures, dark legends and rowdy humour into a unique whole.” Says game designer at Mercat Games, Jakub Brzeziński, in the release. “Gameplay-wise, it should appeal to fans of games like Shadow Tactics, Desperados, Commandos, War Mongrels and Partisans 1941”
Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean places players in command of a pirate crew during the Golden Age of Piracy. However, this world is embellished and built upon the lore of pirate legends. Featuring real-time stealth gameplay, revolving around tactical battle, Additionally, there is no one-way to accomplish your missions. The game has multiple paths to accomplish the end result, it’s up to the player to decide how they get there. Of course, there is a whole pirate world to explore, full of side-quests, characters, and treasures to discover.

Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean will be coming to PC in 2023. Additionally, console versions will follow later on. However, a demo of the game will appear at the Steam Next Fest festival in June.
