Ravenscourt Announces Launch Date For Road 96 On ConsolesÂ
RavensCourt, which was established in 2014, is a European video game developer. The company has delivered entertaining and unique titles. Their games have spanned from city builders to indie gems. Ravenscout is part of the Koch Media family. One of the company’s most successful titles is Road 96, an indie title, that takes players on a crazy, fun and special road trip. Today, the company has confirmed that Road 96 will launch on consoles on April 14th, 2022. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Road 96 recently won five game awards at the Pegases Awards. The awards include Best Indie Game, Best Accessibility, Best Sound Design, Best Narrative Design and Beyond the Video Game. Yoan Fanise, CEO of DigixArt, was proud of the awards, stating, “We are so proud to have won these, we were hoping for one, five is unbelievable…There is a large audience waiting for innovative experiences nowadays, the gaming world has changed drastically over the last years. Road 96 is a collaborative creation, a reflection of the team’s diversity and shows that success is not a matter of a project’s size.”
Road 96 is described as a crazy road trip where players engage in an ever evolving story and world. The 90s soundtrack adds to the mood and vibe of the game and there are over a thousand routes for players to enjoy. In 1996, the protagonist hits the road with the intention of fleeing. Along the way, players will meet weird characters, discover secrets and much more.
