A Collaboration Within Gaming Culture
When it comes to the gaming world, sound design is as important as anything. And when it comes to playing the game, enjoying the OST, or listening for movement, headphones add a level of intimacy with the sound of a game. They make it feel closer. Today, JBL and 100 Thieves have announced a collaboration on an exclusive headset, the Quantum One Headset. The exclusive Quantum One Headset marks JBL’s first gaming collaboration. Of course a partnership with 100 Thieves, a premium gaming lifestyle brand, founded by former Call of Duty pro Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag is perfect. The collaboration allows both companies to excel on the headset. JBL implements its already well-known QuantumSPHERE 360 sound technology. Additionally, 100 Thieves get to use the headset as a canvas. The release explains that the headset is made with 100 Thieves exclusive geo-print. According to the release, the design reflects this generations desire to define its own version of success.

Celebrating the limited edition drop of the headset is an exclusive event at the 100 Thieves compound in Culver City, California. The event will focus on sound in gaming. Additionally, the event concludes with a performance by, Grammy Award Nominee, Gunna. Of course, the headsets are exclusive. They will cost $300 each and will be available on StockX at 12 p.m. ET on March 24. The online release is the sole opportunity for purchase.
