Ghostrunner Unleashes Hel With New, Project_Hel, DLC

Return to the dystopian Dharma Tower as a brutal antihero. Publisher 505 Games’ cyberpunk action game, Ghostrunner, releases its new DLC today: Project_Hel. A press release about the DLC provides more information including details on the main character the android, Hel. 

Ghostrunner is a cyberpunk action game with a post-apocalyptic theme. Players take control of a Ghostrunner, a highly mobile blade fighter with superhuman reflexes. As a Ghostrunner, you will fight your way through humanity’s last city the Dharma Tower. Experience the intense one-hit-kill fighting where you need to use your advanced skills to survive. Join the story of a world after the cataclysm and the people who are left, still fighting to survive.

Ghostrunner’s DLC, Project_Hel places players just prior to the storyline of the base Ghostrunner. Furthermore, the DLC introduces a new player character with a new mission. Players play as the brutal combat android Hel on a quest to end a rebellion at the base of the tower. Contrasting normal Ghostrunners Hel is completely lacking biological parts. Instead, she is a violent, unstable, mess of barely held together AI. 

Of course, a new character means new features. A new rage meter, a super jump, her ability to dash through the air, and a revamped progression system are all features of this DLC. As players use all of these new features to journey through the story, Hel’s motivations may seem to shift. Search for the loopholes in Hel’s programming that keep her locked into missions and take revenge on her creators. 

Project Hel is available now on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Serie X/S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, Ghostrunner will be available for free for PlayStation 5 PlayStation Plus Members throughout March.
