Team17 has been involved in the release of popular titles including Blasphemous, Hell Let Loose and Before We Leave. The company has now teamed up with Sengi Games to release The Serpent Rogue. The game is described as an action adventure wherein players discover a mysterious realm. Today, the game’s release date was officially announced via trailer. The Serpent Rogue will release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on April 26th. Interested fans can wishlist the game on Steam here and try the demo!
The game’s latest trailer shows off its dynamic graphics, world and protagonist. Thus, the mysterious realm is filled with darkness, eerie locations and other characters. Each decision made by players have consequences, so they must choose wisely. Besides the combat, the game offers various activities for players to enjoy including crafting, gathering and even taming animals.
Moreover, The Serpent Rogue is built around the world of alchemy where players, as the Warden, will craft, brew and concoct potions to protect the realm. Additionally, players will explore Mount Morbus, which is filled with secret passages and where evil is spreading at a rapid rate. Furthermore, one of the most unique features in the game is that players can shapeshift into different creatures. This grants different abilities, skills and creates a perfect balance between human and creature.
