Welcome to the prohibition friend, lets get ready to make some moonshine. Klabater’s simulation and strategy adventure, Moonshine Inc, is coming to Steam Next-Fest this February with a free demo. A press release about the game provides more details surrounding how players begin their distillery, the setting, and more.Â
Enter the Appalachian mountains, and step into the prohibition. In Moonshine Inc the player aims to build an illegal brewing empire without falling prey to the law. The player will follow a storyline that contains colorful prohibition era-type characters, some good some bad, as they learn to become a master moonshine maker.Â
Moonshine Inc is a simulation type game. This means much of the responsibility of your empire’s success falls upon you. Of course the most successful moonshine operation has… well… moonshine. The player will develop and modify different moonshine recipes to find the best one. In fact, you can find and borrow recipes from the most famous moonshiners who came before you. As you make more moonshine you will harness the real chemistry behind it, so maybe get a lab coat.Â
As part of building your moonshine empire you’ll also have to find ways to evade the law. Sneaky distribution is almost as important as making the stuff. You’re going to face a lot of opposition from corrupt sheriffs and governors, to other moonshiners and the law. You’ll have your hands full. Using a system developed specifically for Moonshine Inc, The Red Flag Police system, controls the movement and intelligence of the authorities. So remember they want you to slip up, they want you to make a mistake to put you away, just make sure you remember to upgrade your secret bases.Â
