MMORPG Final Fantasy 14’s Free Trial Will Resume In Just A Few Days
Square Enix has a lot of major titles under its portfolio including the Final Fantasy series. One of their most popular titles is Final Fantasy 14. The game is considered the best MMORPG in the world as it is full of content and its recently released expansion, Endwalker, was well received. Unfortunately, it was so well received that the servers were unable to handle the player capacity. As a result, the free trial for players had to come to an end. However, today, the developers were able to announce that free trials would resume.
Via its official Twitter, the team behind Final Fantasy 14 stated, “Have you heard? The critically acclaimed MMORPG #FFXIV‘s Free Trial resumes Feb. 22, 2022!” This is excellent news for fans looking to get into an MMORPG. The game’s free trial is quite accommodating. For example, free trial players can make up to eight characters and even hit level 60. The free trial allows players to fully experience the game, dungeons and much of the Main Story Quests.Â
Final Fantasy Endwalker is the game’s latest expansion. The expansion introduced a ton of new content including raids, dungeons and even increased the level cap. Furthermore, players were able to access the Sage and Reaper classes as well as new cities and new areas. Upon Endwalker’s release, due to server constraints and the pandemic, Square Enix was unable to facilitate a spike in the player count. As a result, the difficult decision was made to end the free trial.
