Marvel’s Avengers Developers Provide Update On Upcoming Plans
Square Enix is a major video game publisher responsible for various titles including Marvel’s Avengers and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. At launch, Marvel’s Avengers was highly anticipated, some it left some fans disappointed. However, since its release, the developers have been working on the game and have provided an update into its development plans. The team is unable to reveal a full roadmap for upcoming content, but is able to give some information on the upcoming update.
In the latest patch, the developers addressed some concerns by introducing Shipments and a rework of the economy and gear upgrading system. The team intends to continue to improve on these aspects of the game. Patch 2.3 is the upcoming update for the game that is set to release in March 2022. Nick Fury will return to lead SHIELD. Along with his return, fans will enjoy a rework of the War Table and mission-select system.
Additionally, there will be a wide array of builds available for players to discover and utilize. There are also more activities available leading to a better experience. Moreover, there will be additional changes to the Units economy and weekly rewards from Raids and Omega-Level Threats.
Besides these major changes, the developers will endeavor to improve the game by addressing critical bugs, raid stability and other quality of life changes based on feedback. This is merely a glimpse of what is to come. Patch 2.3 will introduce a lot more changes.
Marvel’s Avengers is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Google Stadia PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
