They Call Him Seed
It seems as though Ubisoft is pushing out all the Far Cry 6 DLC as fast as they can. The game is only four months old and all their planned paid DLC is pretty much out. Or at least it will be by the end of next week.
Most of season pass content revolves around bringing back the villains of the three previous numbered games. The Vaas Montenegro and Pagan Min DLCs are out and Joseph Seed’s content will launch on February 8th. Like the previous DLCs, Joseph: Collapse will explore the mind of the villain.
Similarly to how the Vaas and Pagan DLC was, Joseph Seed’s content will make use of roguelite elements. Each run will have the players start out with no equipment and no money, a currency called Penance. Joseph will be encountering other members of the Seed family, who played roles as minor villains alongside him.
No one likes it when their game runs out of content, so having all the Far Cry 6 DLC coming out so quickly is pretty sweet. However, some fans are concerned that this bodes ill for the game. It is almost as if Ubisoft wants this game to be out and over with. Hopefully, they will continue to support it as long as fans need.
There are also some free Far Cry DLC packs to look forward to. The Danny Trejo officially launched last year, and we are expecting that the Rambo-inspired romp will be coming out soon as well. After that, there is going to be a Stranger Things crossover that fans should look out for.
Far Cry 6 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
