Oh, Mega
The King of Fighters XV is coming out next month. As SNK gears up for this big release, they are promoting the Omega Edition of the game. At first, it was announced to only be available in Asia and Europe. However, after a bit of noise, Koch Media has decided to add North America to the list.
The King of Fighters XV Omega Edition comes with a bunch of items, both physical and a couple of digital ones. It contains a 119-page artbook of all the characters, a two-disk soundtrack, and a special slipcase for the game with Iori Yagami on one side.
There are also three different lithographs that come with the Omega Edition. They depict Terry Bogard and Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, and Mai Shiranui. It is unclear what the dimensions of these lithographs are though. As for digital content, it also contains two bonus costumes and Team Pass 1.
Team Pass 1 will get a player DLC Team 1 and DLC Team 2, whenever they launch. The two costumes extra costumes are Terry Bogard’s outfit from Garou: Mark of the Wolves and Leona Heidern’s outfit from The King of Fighters ’96.
The pre-orders for the Omega Edition have not gone live in North America, but Koch Media says it will be available soon. The King of Fighters XV will launch with 40 characters and have 12 more planned as post-launch content. The King of Fighters XV will be coming out on February 17th for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
