Kirby and the Forgotten Land Has the Largest File Size Yet for Kirby
Kirby and the Forgotten Land file size was revealed, and it shows that this is the largest Kirby game to date. Not much of a surprise with this being Kirby’s first real foray into 3D. Hopefully, this file size leads to another fantastic game in the Kirby series.
Don’t worry; it still isn’t a massive game. You will need 5.8GB for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. That may be bigger than any other Kirby game, but it still isn’t a massive ask. It won’t exactly be hogging all your storage space should you choose to go the digital route.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is also just slightly bigger than Mario Oddysey, which it seems to be heavily inspired by. Mario Oddysey comes in at 5.6GB. Not a massive difference, but it might be a good indicator of what to expect in size and scope.
If Kirby and the Forgotten Land is even half as good as Mario Oddysey, then we might just have the best Kirby game yet. That isn’t a knock on other Kirby games. That’s just how good I think Mario Oddysey is. Unfortunately, the file size doesn’t actually tell us anything about the quality of the game. I can still hope, however.
I’m also very excited for Kirby to be rocking a gun in this outing. I don’t know why. Kirby, just regular pink Kirby, rocking a gun is just funny to me. I don’t think this is a case where they give him a gun to be edgy. It’s Kirby. You can’t give a circle edges.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set to come out on March 25. Personally, I can’ wait to jump in and check out Kirby’s latest adventure. Here’s hoping it is able to capture the usual Kirby quality and perhaps be even better than ever before.
