Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Delay Next Season

Following a series of problems and bugs, Raven Software and Sledgehammer Hames have decided to delay Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific’s second season. The companies have decided to focus on incoming patches instead of continuing to build on a flawed game.

However, players shouldn’t be too disappointed. The developers are only delaying the second season from February 2 to February 14. They didn’t share more info on what these quality of life improvements would entail, but they will surely make the games more stable.

There have been hints for general console stability fixes and weapon balancing to make the game as a whole a better experience for gamers. This won’t be the first update to fix some of the games’ issues. The issues resulted in a formal recognition on the series’ Twitter account today that the games’ multitude of issues.

We also know very little of what the companies meant to include in Season 2 of the games. There was likely going to be a more clear announcement next month, but that will likely be delayed as well. These issues are clearly bothering players and are significant enough to ruin the experience. So it’s probably a good decision to take one step back before they take two steps forward.
