34BigThings has announced a sequel to their anti-gravity racing game, slated for a 2022 release. Just like in the first game, the sequel is set on a dystopian Earth where anti-gravity racing is one of the galaxy’s most popular sports. Players will race through Earth’s wastelands and customize their hovership to get even faster, flying at speeds over 1,000 km/h.

Players will choose from 12 distinct body types to build their hovership. From propulsors and stabilizers to rudders and intercoolers, players will be able to build their craft to their exact specifications. You will also be able to customize the wings and spoilers.

Redout 2 will feature an expansive single-player career mode with 36 different racetracks. Each track is reversible and features several different race modes. From basic races and Time Attacks to intense Boss Races, players will have a lot to work with. The game will also feature an online multiplayer mode and plans on releasing updates through seasons of content.

The studio has also released a fast-paced trailer along with their announcement to showcase the action. The trailer will give you a taste of what to expect from the various tracks and the fierce competition of the game’s race modes.
