THQ Nordic Announces Delay For Spellforce III Reforced On Consoles

THQ Nordic is a popular video game publisher with major titles under its portfolio including Destroy All Humans!, Elex and recently announced titles such as Super Power III, Jagged Alliance 3 and Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake. The company is known to partner with developers to produce quality games. THQ Nordic along with Grimlore Games have announced that Spellforce III Reforced will be delayed on consoles, namely the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, from December 7th, 2021 to March 8th, 2022. However, the game will arrive as a free update to Spellforce III on PC on December 6th.

Reforced builds upon the original Spellforce III by adding a ton of new features for players to enjoy, including an enhanced campaign. Some of the features of the enhanced campaign are reworked skill trees, improved quests, balancing and loot distribution and improved real-time strategy mechanics and strategy faction designs. Furthermore, all campaign and quest logic issues have been resolved.

Quality of life improvements include visually and functionally improved user interface and gamepad support. The developers will also be introducing fresh content into the game. The new content includes a skirmish map, Journey and Arena Mode, Journey Skirmish and mod support for the modes, allowing for the community’s creativity to reign supreme.

Spellforce III Reforced along with expansions, Soul Harvest and Fallen God, will be available on March 8th, 2022. Each expansion will be sold separately, at a price of $19.99USD and offers its own unique content including a single-player campaign and more units for players to enjoy. Players can purchase the complete edition of Spellforce III for $59.99USD.
