Forza Horizon 5, the latest installment in Playground Games’ racer series, has attracted nearly one million players who paid for its early access. Forza Horizon 5’s Game Pass access and Standard Edition will not be available until November 9th, which is when the game is officially launched to the public. Fans of the franchise who have subscribed to Game Pass can currently buy the Premium Edition add-ons—including early access—for $45. This means that Forza Horizon 5 has already grossed between $36 million to $79 million before its official release.

It has become apparent that Forza Horizon 5 is already set to have a significant launch—at least, when it comes to active players. It has somewhat cemented its reputation as the best-selling game on Steam—at the moment, anyway—and has also enjoyed amazing positive reviews from the gaming public.

Many racing game fans have taken to social media to commend the game for being the best installment in the series, in addition to being the best Xbox Series X/S game to date. Forza Horizon 5 features flawless racing, with a beautiful picturesque setting, in addition to an excellent new progression system that encourages players to focus on the features that they love the most.

Currently, Forza Horizon 5 owns the top spot on OpenCritic as the highest rated 2021 release, with an average rating of 92 and a very rare 100% recommendation from gaming critics. On Metacritic, on the other hand it garnered an average score of 91 and has been rated as the Top 6 game on the site for 2021.
