It’s Time to Welcome Back Brewster and the Gang
That’s right, Animal Crossing: New Horizons’s new DLC expansion, Happy Home Paradise, is now ready for pre-download. While the first Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s expansion is set to come out on November 5th, it’s now possible to get it locked and loaded so players can enjoy the game right away. It’s priced at twenty-five dollars, or it’s free- but only for those who possess Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. Either way, it’s not a terrible price to pay for the building of the ideal vacation home away from home in the Animal Crossing Expansion. From what’s been seen, building a vacation home in the new expansion is similar to the 3DS’ Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, which may or may not thrill fans.
With this coming alongside the big free update, there’s a lot to look forward to for Animal Crossing fans and players. One of the most notable being, naturally, the reappearance of Brewster, owner of Roost coffee shop. So get ready to hear a lot of spilled tea in the Roost, and be able to watch multiple characters interact with each other, as well as enjoy interacting with the mysterious and aloof Brewster himself. The additions for the game don’t stop there. Gyroids, Kapp’n will be added to the game for one, and it’s possible to pay bells to expand a shopping center on Harv’s Island, including stores such as Kicks and Sahara. There are new customization options too, permanent ladders- ladders of all things! And more bridges too, always a useful feature. You’ll get to see Tortimer, the old mayor, around town too, and be able to use a past feature, called Ordinances, once per day in order to change a feature of the island, such as being able to play earlier in the day.
With all of the new customizable features, it’s easy to get excited. However, with Happy Home Paradise now on the way, it’s best to keep in mind that the latest free update will be the last free update. That’s something to keep in mind for this peaceful game that was released last year.
