Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 6 Patch Notes Unveil A Lot of Changes
Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the biggest battle royales around and its initial ‘Verdansk’ life cycle is set to come to an end as its final season, Season 6 officially launches today. Following the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard in November, a new map and anti-cheat will launch that will hopefully change the dynamics of Call of Duty: Warzone. Until then, fans have a lot of new content, weapons and other changes to enjoy.
Verdansk will now have two new points of interest, Fissures which are explosions that have caused massive cracks in Stadium and Downtown and Bunkers, which allows players to find top tier loot and more. Another major change in the upcoming season is that the original gulag has returned, with a few twists to be explored.
Furthermore, gulag loadouts, ground loot and supply box loot have been changed for the upcoming season. This change is welcomed as the previous season’s ground loot made the early game quite difficult.
New weapons have been added into the game such as the .410 Ironhide Shotgun, Grav Assault Rifle, Battle Axe, LAPA and the Hammer & Sickle. In terms of weapon changes, the C58, EM2, MG82 and Stoner have been altered to increase recoil meaning that they may just fall out of the meta loop. Some attachments have also been altered that will affect SMGs such as the OTS-9.
There have also been various bug fixes and a ton of new charms, camos and skins to collect across various fresh bundles and via the Battle Pass for Season Six.
