Square Enix’s Tokyo Game Show Lineup Announced

More Details Behind Exciting Upcoming Games To Be Unveiled

Square Enix has just released their Tokyo Game Show lineup, with a heavy focus on the final fantasy series.  The Square Enix presentation at the Tokyo Game Show will take place from October 1st to October 3rd.

Although not too many details have been given about what exactly the presentations are about, the game lineup has been announced.  The upcoming games to be featured are Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Forspoken, Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, and Project Triangle Strategy.  In addition, there will be presentations on Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

Especially exciting in the upcoming games list is Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, Marvel’s Guardians of Galaxy, Forspoken, and Project Triangle Strategy.  As Square Enix has only given a brief look into the newest Final Fantasy spinoff, it will be exciting to see new details behind the gameplay and story.  Marvel’s Guardians of Galaxy recently got a new trailer today at the PlayStation Showcase, but so far not too much behind the gameplay has been revealed – so keep an eye out for that.

Forspoken got a new trailer today at the PlayStation Showcase, and featured some great fluid movement – it’ll be interesting to see more details behind the PlayStation timed exclusive.  Finally, Project Triangle Strategy will be featured in the Square Enix presentation.  As this game is a strategy JRPG with the same artstyle and devs from Octopath Traveler, any more details are welcome.

The rest of the games – Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier,  Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, are all mobile games.  The Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend will bring Final Fantasy Legend I, II and III to the Nintendo Switch.
