Saints Row Reboot Will Be Packed With New Features Such As Co-Op, Customization And More
The Saints Row franchise has a storied history in video games as players wage war in the streets of Saints Row, fighting rival gangs and more. At Gamescom, it was announced that Saints Row would be rebooted and players would be taken back to Saint Ileso as the team behind Volition was ready to improve and enhance the game experience. Today, the company revealed more information about features in Saint Ileso, including customization options, co-op experience and new areas.
The developers have endeavored to provide a new experience for players where they can build their gang from scratch. To do so, the characters in the game will be using their skills to take over the city and become rich. The journey commences from the beginning and showcases the slow rise to the top. Some of the Saints include Kevin, a thrill seeker, Neenah, the best getaway driver around and The Boss, who shoots first and asks questions later.
Saints Row Reboot may just provide the best customization yet, with an in-depth character customization menu. There are eight voices to choose from, layers of clothing and even vehicles can be altered to your liking. Furthermore, the Reboot will feature untethered co-op play. The feature includes cross-gen play so players can jump right into the action.
Saint Ileso has also been altered to provide new areas, buildings, stores and more, but the developers will keep some of the recognizable ones in as well. Saint Ileso will stand out in different ways.
Saints Row Reboot launches on February 25th, 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It can be pre-ordered here.
