Nvidia Has an Update on the Massive GeForce Now Leak

That’s a Big Leak

A huge GeForce Now leak has revealed that God of War (2018) might be could be the next PlayStation exclusive to come to PC. The leak also reveals Returnal and Demon’s Souls might be making the jump as well.

This was first spotted on Reddit, a software developer recently performed a datamine of Nvidia’s GeForce Now database that revealed several huge titles coming to PC. One notable title is that the Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy is set to come to PC.

Now, we do have to take this with a grain of salt. Some of these titles are placeholders, canceled projects, or far into the future ideas. Things like Demon’s Souls and Returnal just don’t make much sense to me at this point in time. Sony has more of a focus on PC, but most of their games stay exclusive for years before coming to PC. I’m sure these games will eventually come, but I think we have a few years before that happens.

For example, Sony is bringing Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy to PC in the Legacy of Thieves Collection and those games came out in 2016 and 2017. We are likely to see more PS4 titles like the Ratchet and Clank reboot before we get PS5 exclusives like Demon’s Souls and Returnal.

With a leak this big, Nvidia had to respond. I’m sure their partners are not happy about having their project leaked and so many had their projects leaked.

Here is Nvidia’s response:

“NVIDIA is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing. Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game.

“NVIDIA took immediate action to remove access to the list. No confidential game builds or personal information were exposed.”

This is just a messy situation, but I look forward to seeing what is coming and when from this leak.
