Summer Game Fest 2021 Kicks Off in June With Over Thirty Partners

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, many video game expos and shows have shifted to the digital realm including e3, currently carded to take place on 12th June, and EA Play Live, scheduled to take place on 22nd July. The Summer Game Fest, in partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming, is a show that will feature a slate of video games, content and other entertainment news, announcement and releases via a digital platform on 10th June 2021, with the live kickoff show at 2P.M. ET! The show is hosted by Geoff Keighley, former host of G4TV, and will include performances by Weezer and Days of the Dev with IAM8Bit and Double Fine.

The Summer Game Fest can be co-streamed by internet personalities across the board and is available for livestream on all major platforms including Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and more. Furthermore, persons wishing to tune in will not require a digital badge, nor is there a need for registration. Simply put, fans just need to tune in on their preferred platform on 10th June 2020 to watch the Summer Game Fest!  As of right now, the Summer Games Fest has a ton of partners including 2K Games, Activison, Amazon Games, Epic Games, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Capcom, Gearbox Software, Riot Games, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Warner Brothers and Steam. On 12th June, Ubisoft Forward will take place, giving fans an in-depth look at Ubisoft’s future developments while from 16th June, Steam will have their six days of news, announcements and hundreds of demos. The carded events end on 22nd July with EA Play Live, however more daily events may be added soon.
