Zombies Galore
Since its announcement, fans have been keeping a keen eye on Back 4 Blood as it appears to be reminiscent of the classic and universally loved Left 4 Dead series, which has now essentially been ‘left for dead’Â by Valve. Back 4 Blood, developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by Warner Bros Entertainment, is a thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the Left 4 Dead series and essentially is a thrilling, fun and intense game with constant zombie fighting. Back 4 Blood is set to release on 12th October 2021 on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, via both Steam and Epic. The Ultimate, Deluxe and Standard Edition are all available for pre-order with the relevant scaling benefits, including early access to the game prior to its official launch.
The latest trailer kicks off with some zombie fighting and a narrative introduction of Holly, who goes on to explain that a scary worm turned everyone into monsters, leaving the world in a chaotic state. Due to the ‘mess’, the ‘Cleaners’ had to come in and resist the zombie incursion. Holly goes on to introduce Walker, a deadly accurate war veteran, Doc, the medic for the team, Karlee, who can sense danger, Jim, the marksman, Hoffman, the perfect support star, Evangelo and Mom, who is as tough as nails. After introducing the cast, the trailer reveals ‘The Ridden’, which includes various types of enemies such as the Breaker, Ogre, Snitcher and Hag.
The trailer sets the a great tone for the game and introduces characters along with their various abilities! The mix and match potential is endless and will lead to a lot of variety.
