Aiden Pearce Heads Across the Pond in Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline

The Fox Returns

We are days away from June and the new free content for Watch Dogs: Legion. There will be improvements and additions across the board, like a 60 fps performance mode for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, a new operative, and a new tactical op. After that, there will be some new paid content for the game in July. This will add a new story expansion called Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline and will bring back two of the most memorable characters from the previous games; Aiden Pearce from the first game and Wrench, the Daft Punk-looking ally from Watch Dogs 2.

Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline

Last week, Ubisoft released a short trailer for Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline. We see Aiden hiding out in Chicago, when he gets a call from Jordi Chin, who he worked with in Watch Dogs. Jordi offers him a job in London, where Aiden’s nephew Jackson apparently is. He accepts the job and drives off. With Wrench also being a playable character in July, perhaps we will see a similar trailer for him to see him set out for London as well.

What this trailer tells us is that not only do fans get to play as Aiden and Wrench, but their appearances and roles in the London campaign are canon. They aren’t just for fun, since we all know how Ubisoft likes to have non-canon crossovers between games. I wonder if the upcoming Assassin’s Creed crossover will be canon as well? Watch Dogs: Legion is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
