Back 4 Blood Release Date Pushed Back, Beta in the Summer

October Is a More Appropriate Release Date Anyway

If you have been anxiously awaiting Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood, you will have to wait a little bit longer. Then again, you have been waiting since Left 4 Dead 2 came out, so a few more months should be a drop in the bucket, right? Delays are all for the better though. We all want games to be good, so we endure the delays. Turtle Rock Studios announced this delay on Twitter earlier today, but they also announced that fans will also get to try out the beta this Summer. Back 4 Blood will be released in October.

Back 4 Blood Release Date

I mean, it doesn’t take a Sherlock to see that the Summer will be putting a beta in place of the full game, but again, the final release should be all the better for it. Back in December, players on PC got to play the closed alpha for Back 4 Blood. Hopefully in the next few months, Turtle Rock Studios will give us more details on the upcoming beta. Maybe console players will get a taste this time? Pretty please? At least this time it will be an open beta, so anyone with supporting platforms can try it.

More on the bright side for fans, after trying the beta, you will have a better idea of what edition of Back 4 Blood you might want to get. Depending on how much you enjoy it and how invested you are in it, you can sink in a bit more money for more content down the road. Back 4 Blood will be available on October 12th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
