Persona 5 Strikers Getting a Crossover With Dragalia Lost

Dragalia Lost is Coming For Your Heart

The Persona series is one of the biggest JRPG franchises out there right now, and it owes a lot of that to Persona 5. Combining the series’ traditional, randomly generated dungeons with the palaces – tightly plotted and designed dungeons with their own puzzles and quirks based on who subconsciously created them – the game drew rave reviews and even garnered a remaster and a direct sequel, with fans praising the intricate mechanics, great story, and interesting characters.

As part of that popularity, Persona 5 has crossed over with Smash Bros. and even, bizarrely, AFK Arena, and now it’s getting another notch on its crossover belt – an event on Nintendo’s mobile game Dragalia Lost.

Dragalia Lost is a touch-screen based action RPG set in Alberia, the kingdom where the dragons live. The royal family each have the ability to transform into one of the fire-breathing reptiles, and the game follows Prince Euden as he seeks to prevent a calamity and save his people.

The crossover will see the Phantom Thieves join Euden’s party on his adventures, with Joker being a summonable adventurer. His movement and skills will be inspired by his characterization in Persona 5: Strikers, and when he fills his dragon meter, rather than transforming into a dragon, he instead summons Arsene – his first persona – to fight by his side.

Players will also get the chance to recruit one of the Phantom Thieves into their party, but we don’t know at this point who that is. When crossing over with AFK Arena only Joker and Queen (AKA Makoto) made the trip, after all. We don’t know at this point if it’ll be a specific character or a random one, or whether players will somehow get to pick, but hey, the event launches later this month, so you don’t have too long to wait to find out.
