Nintendo has partnered with Starlight Children’s Foundation to put Starlight Nintendo Switch Stations in hospitals all over America.
There are initiatives all over the world that help children in hospitals and Starlight Children’s Foundation is one such organization that is doing their part. Their main focus is comfort; they provide children with comfortable clothing and gowns for their stay in the hospital, as well as entertainment like VR and video games. Earlier this month, they announced that their Starlight Nintendo Switch Gaming Stations were arriving at hospitals. These Gaming Stations can be wheeled from room to room with a TV and a Nintendo Switch pre-loaded over 25 games. They also come with wired Joy Cons and Pro Controllers.
Starlight Children’s Foundation has actually partnered with Nintendo of America for the past 28 years. The Nintendo Switch stations are just the latest iteration of mobile gaming stations they have come up with.
