The Future Is Photos
Photography is an art. These days, phone cameras do a lot of the photography work and allows anyone to capture great pictures with excellent quality. The Cyberpunk 2077 photo mode is going to be a big step forward for amateur photographers/gamers. A trailer just for this feature was released this week ahead of next week’s launch. The game is bound to be full of moments and opportunities to make memories, so why not take advantage of the photo mode? It’ll last longer, and judging by the trailer, it will be very accessible and easy to use.
There are tons of photo modes out there for different games. The one in Cyberpunk 2077 is not really groundbreaking, but it looks very user-friendly. Usually, if you are going for an action shot, you do something big and cool, then open photo mode and hope that it actually looks good. Games are starting to allow players to manipulate the shot beyond just camera placement, effects, and angles. Sure, Cyberpunk’s photo mode lets you alter the depth of field, gradient, zoom, and all that, but it also gives you full control over your character as well.
Even frozen in time, you will be able to change your character’s pose, facial expression, direction, and placement. Instead of a boring crouched, sprinting, or standing pose in the middle of a firefight, you can choose between a ton of action poses or even a silly one if you’re feeling it. There is also a “sticker” tab in the photo mode, which lets you put different signs, symbols, other effects on your picture. Of course, this is just one of the many things you will be spending your time with in Cyberpunk 2077. The game comes out on December 10th for PC, Stadia, Xbox One, and PS4, and will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X at a later date.
