Skyrim Special Edition Mod Overhauls 253 NPCs

Facelift

If you’re still plugging away at The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, you’ll want to pay attention to this. Modder PoeticAnt44 of dsogaming has released a 1.3GB patch that overhauls the faces of 253 male NPCs. If you’ve felt as if Skyrim has been suffering from “same face syndrome,” this is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Skyrim

John Papadopoulos of dsogaming went into a bit of detail regarding what you can expect out of the mod:

“Created by modder PoeticAnt44, Pride of Skyrim is a high poly head overhaul of small-town male NPCs. Now the good news here is that there are no skin textures attached to this mod. That means you will get the vanilla skin textures with this mod, something that will please most Skyrim Special Edition fans.

In order to create this overhaul mod, PoeticAnt44 is using High Poly Head Version 4 and it requires Expressive Facegen Morphs and Expressive Facial Animation Male.  The modder notes that High Poly Head is baked into the mod, but not the animations. However, if you find beard clipping or weird eyes, you’ll have to install the aforementioned mods.”

Skyrim Special Edition Feature

Dsogaming has released mods that range from 10GB texture packs to blood and guts enhancers that really make Skyrim pop. And if you find things are getting too easy, there’s a complete enemy overhaul modification that will help crank up the pressure.
