It’s Official: Cyberpunk 2077 is In the Wild

Some People’s Visits are Starting Early

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year. There’s no two ways about it. In a year that’s seen such instant classics as Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Last of Us: Past Two, there’s been some stiff competition for Game of the Year and, while the late release may put it out of contention for an award at The Game Awards this year, it’ll take an exceptionally strong year in gaming next year for Cyberpunk to not get a nomination in next years event, at the very least.

Unfortunately, Cyberpunk has also been hit by numerous delays, the most recent just last month, pushing the game from what developers CD Projekt RED once called the final release date of November 19th to December 10th, citing the need to ensure that the game is as perfect as possible across all platforms.

However, the sudden delay has resulted in some copies of the game shipping early. Posts on reddit have already shown that the game is with some retailers already, and some lucky gamers have already received their copies of the PS4 version of the game. In fact, one streamer has already shown off twenty minutes of gameplay, showcasing the beginning of the Nomad lifepath.

Of course, like with The Last of Us Part 2 – which had large portions leaked, including cutscenes – and Final Fantasy VII – which made its way into some players hands weeks early, and was even sold by retailers in Australia and Europe prior to the official release date – now’s the time to be careful of spoilers, and not to assume that other people are being as careful. If you want to experienced Cyberpunk 2077 spoiler-free, be careful.
