Celebrate Special Events Like Turkey Day in the New Horizon Update
It’s been eight months since the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. By nature the game is designed to keep players coming back to take on their daily tasks. While not all players are dedicated enough to play everyday, there is a strong community of die hard fans that keep on coming back and for good reason–the game is addictive yet relaxing. Even if you aren’t one of the die hard fans grinding bells on the daily, Nintendo is giving you plenty of reason to pick up New Horizons again, even if just for a short amount of time. Since the game’s release, we have gotten multiple updates from minor changes, to the major spring, summer, and fall updates. Now, it’s finally time for fans to take on the new winter update.
Animal Crossing‘s seasonal updates have been a staple since the series’ inception. As early as the GameCube, fans have been able to celebrate the changing of the seasons and the holidays that come along with them. The spring update saw the release of the Bunny Day event, while the fall update gave us Halloween. Now, it is time for the Winter update and along with it comes a few new festivities to enjoy.

The first major event is less than a week away with Turkey Day coming up on November 26th. Toy Day will be a little less than a month after on December 24th. The two events will add a range of new items, outfits, characters, and event day activities. There will also be new general quality of life updates made to the game. New hairstyles, expanded home storage options, and save data transfer which is available to use right now.
While Animal Crossing events come every year, they are only available for a limited time so make sure to get on and enjoy the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Winter Update while you can.
