From the Reddit AMA
The live producer of Watch Dogs: Legion, Lathieeshe Thillainathan (what a name!) recently held an AMA on Reddit’s Watch Dog subreddit. There were many interesting information revealed in the thread, but the most interesting to us is that they were able to confirm 4K 30FPS and Ray Tracing support for both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X.
There has been no confirmation if there would be a playable 60 FPS version for the consoles, but it is definitely something many gamers would love in an action title. Perhaps they will allow you to play at a smaller resolution and disable ray tracing for more frames?
Although such customizable choices aren’t seen in consoles, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them with the new generation. I personally don’t have a large screen, so as much as 4k is nice, it definitely isn’t something I need over an increased frame rate.
