You Know, All The Pikmin And Such
With Pikmin 3 Deluxe coming this month to the Nintendo Switch, it’s important to know more about these creatures. Sure, the three games have been out in the wild for over a decade in total, but what if you’re brand new to video games? This latest trailer hopes to both entertain and inform any new Pikmin enthusiasts out there.
While it’s not exactly a nature documentary in 90 seconds, you still learn some things? Pikmin grow in the ground, they can conduct electricity, lift things for you, build simple structures, and even destroy obstacles. So they’re like a workforce that relies on photosynthesis. Neat! As someone who narrowly missed the whole Pikmin window, maybe this is my big chance to get into the franchise.
With this title, we’ve almost run the gauntlet of decent Wii U games that have been reborn on the Nintendo Switch. If Nintendo tries taking another crack at Star Fox Zero, that will more or less complete the set, right? What’s even left at this point? If gently guiding a squad of plant people to perform complex tasks sounds like your jam, Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be out on the Nintendo Switch on October 30th. The trailer in question is embedded below.
