Brace Yourselves, WoW Shadowlands’ Level Squish Is Coming
Blizzard Entertainment has officially added the pre-patch for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ into the background downloader. The pre-patch is nearly 13GB and it will primarily include the level cap changes, alongside the questing changes, class changes, etc. The new starting area known as Exile’s Reach will be where new characters start their experience with the new pre-patch when it goes live, but WoW fans can download it in the background right now. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will officially launch for PC and Mac on October 26th
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is releasing later in October, but it’s likely that the Shadowlands pre-patch will go live a couple of weeks ahead of its release like previous expansions. Considering the pre-patch has joined the background downloader for the live version of the game, it’s apparently beyond the beta testing phase and is ready for prime time. Newcomers to World of Warcraft will receive their own chat with the Shadowlands pre-patch, joining regular chat upon reaching level 20. The Shadowlands pre-patch will end the current season of PvP, so WoW fans grinding out honor should get where they want to as soon as possible.
The guild recruiter is a bit of content being added to World of Warcraft with the Shadowlands pre-patch, making it easier for veteran players to find a guild that’s suitable for them. Timewalking campaigns will take gamers from level 10-50 to their favorite expansions content, from Wrath of the Lich King to Battle for Azeroth, and everything in between. Gamers will no longer need exalted reputation with Allied Races to unlock them once the pre-patch goes live, however, they’ll still have to complete the necessary Achievements to unlock them.
