Skilled Call of Duty Players Upset to Play With Other Skilled Players

CoD Fanbase Strikes Again

The stereotypes of Call of Duty players consist of using slurs in the chat, drinking energy drinks, eating Doritos, and pwning noobs. Now, it’s not okay to stereotype people, but when they stereotype themselves, it’s hard not to. It can be hard to pwn noobs when there are no noobs to be found. If you are playing with other people who are at your skill level, everyone will be struggling to keep up. That is what happens in Skill Based Match Making or SBMM for those who don’t have the time to say the whole thing.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Mutliplayer

Last year, when Modern Warfare was coming out, the announcement that SBMM would be the norm in multiplayer caused outrage among the vocal Call of Duty bros about how it ruins the game. Basically, the game is not fun if you are playing with good players. Why can’t game developers make good games where casual gamers or newcomers can just get blasted away by veterans of the series? Well, if SBMM ruined the game for you last year, I have some bad news. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will use Skill Based Match Making.

There are solutions and workarounds for this: GET GUD BRO. You wanna play with the big dogs? You gotta play with the big dogs. Other players have taken to throwing grenades at their feet to lower their K/D ratio and get into easier, baby lobbies, but then how can you brag to your bros about your K/D if you sabotage it? Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be out on November 13th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
