Xbox’s Upcoming Event Runtime Has Been Revealed
Since the Xbox Showcase was announced, many fans have wondered what Microsoft will be showing off. Over the past weeks, many have speculated the company will go into detail about the upcoming Xbox series X. While they will probably give some details of the upcoming details to fans about the next-generation Xbox console, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has recently told viewers to expect mostly games. Now, the company has confirmed how long the showcase will be.
While it may come to no surprise, the upcoming Xbox Showcase on July 23 will run for one hour. This news came from a blog post on the official Xbox site. In the press release, Xbox Games Marketing General Manager Aaron Greenberg announced, “The day you’ve been waiting for is nearly here: On Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m. PT, we’ll be giving you a closer look at the future of gaming with the Xbox Games Showcase, including world premieres and updated looks at some of the games we’ve already revealed. And yes, that includes your first-ever look at campaign gameplay from Halo Infinite.” This means that the show should run until 10 PM PT.
While the Xbox Showcase will be Xbox’s main event on July 23, the company also reminded fans that there will be other reasons to tune in early. In the post, Greenberg stated, “our celebration of all things Xbox games will start with a Summer Game Fest pre-show beginning at 8 a.m. PT. Tune in for reveals, predictions, insights from YouTube creators, and more on some already-announced titles coming to Xbox. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the Xbox Games Showcase pre-show will air on YouTube Gaming.”
