More Leaks Are Being Spread About Call of Duty 2020

Over the past several months, there have been many rumors about the upcoming installment in the Call of Duty series, however, there has been little to no concrete details given by Activision. Fans of the series are eager for more information, so much so,  that a dataminer has searched the upcoming game’s files for potential details about the upcoming game.

After The Red Door appeared on the Microsoft store, it did not take long for the rumors to spread that it was a Call of Duty 2020 alpha. After that, a Twitter user named Prototype Warehouse snuck into the game’s files and pulled out some potential information about the game. While the tweet does not explain much, it does show the potential names and locations of several campaign missions.

In the tweet, Prototype Warehouse posts, ‘ger_stakeout, nam_armada, nam_prisoner, nic_revolution, rus_amerika, rus_duga, rus_kgb, rus_siege, rus_yamantau, (sidemission) tundra, (sidemission) takedown, takedown, #First, #SP”, suggesting that many of the missions will take place in Germany Vietnam, and Russia. In line with many of the previous rumors, the locations, suggest that the game will take place during the Vietnam war.

Throughout the last two generations, Call of Duty has had a yearly release cycle. While the later reveal of the game is odd for the series, it could be contributed to the fact that the three-year development cycle between Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer was interrupted.
