You Can Now Get Any Villager You Want In Animal Crossing

Your Friend List Just Got Bigger

Are you still playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons? If so, you probably understand the struggle that is hunting out your favorite villagers. Players have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of Nook Mile tickets in hopes of coming across that special someone – but thanks to PokeNinja, that now may be a thing of the past.

You may have heard of Pokeninja. He was the hacker who back in May started releasing cloned versions of the wildly popular New Horizons villager, Raymond, into the community. This was done in an attempt to combat the toxicity that has been forming within Animal Crossing’s online economy. Players have been charging exorbitant prices for the most popular characters, with millions of bells and thousands of Nook Mile tickets being demanded.

Pokeninja has now returned with his latest project, the Villager Haven. It’s a Discord channel that anyone can join, and will give you access to quite literally, any of the villagers you choose. That’s almost 400 to choose from, including the Raymonds, Judys, and Marshalls of the world.

The process is as simple as logging in, send in your request through the discord server, and a team member will contact you within 48 hours for pickup. It’s worth noting that there is no charge for this service, but as of this writing, there are over 21,000 members on the server. You’ll most likely only have a chance to select one villager, for the time being, so make it count.

In an interview with Polygon, Pokeninja stated:

“The most challenging part is setting the expectation for the community that there is no time frame in which we get back to them. Every request is logged, but you might have to wait a little to get the villager. Folks aren’t told where in the queue they are, only that they should have a little patience as real humans work behind the scenes to make it all happen.

“Our goal is to help as many people as possible while also making them aware that they could have unknown waiting times. The more we do the more we’ll understand what to expect for our time frames in terms of getting through the queues.”
