Cyberpunk 2077 Fans Have Created a Stunning Live Action Trailer of Their Own

Sometimes Fans Are Better Promoters Than the Actual Developers

Cyberpunk 2077 is only a few months away from officially releasing. It has been a long seven years of waiting for most people. Within that time period, fans have gotten to see a handful of trailers and gameplay demos from CD Projekt Red. However, there has been a noticeably small amount of promotion of the game despite the insane amount of hype surrounding it. While CD Projekt Red might be a bit slow or cautious is pump out a new trailer, fans of the upcoming game have no such hesitation.

This short fan film was created by Vi-Dan Tran. The project was made up of a group of passionate cosplayers and amateur actors. Despite the assumed slow budget that the crew had at their disposal, the final product that they were able to produce is simply stunning. The costumes and choreography are done at such a high level that you will forget that this was made by a handful of die-hard fans.

What made the achievement even more notable is that the good people at CD Projekt Red has promoted Vi-Dan Tran’s work via Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter account. Something that is a rare occurrence in entertainment. It is small gestures like this that made CD Projekt Red one of the most beloved companies in the gaming industry.

As access to better editing programs and cameras become more widely available, fans of movies, games, and other forms of media have reliably been some of the best promoters of films and video games rather than companies themselves. Another great example of this is the fan-made Warhammer 40k short film called Astartes.

Keep in mind that this is only a small teaser of what is to come. The final product is going to be even better.
