More Guns = More Fun
The fourth season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is just around the corner. Scheduled to kick-off at the beginning of June, players can expect to see a lot of changes to the game. One of the more interesting changes is going to be the addition of a handful of new weapons to the already extensive arsenal that is available. While this information has been public for some time, there was a recent leak that has confirmed what exactly is going to be added.
The first and arguably most notable new weapon is the Galil. This is no stranger to the Call of Duty series as it has been featured in many previous titles before. On the surface, it looks like it might just be another run-of-the-mill assault rifle but some are claiming that this is going to have the potential to flip the meta on its head. The multiplayer and in particular Warzone have both been dominated with custom M4’s and the Grau for months.
The next big one is a new sniper called the Rytek AMR. A new sniper rifle was desperately needed in order to broaden the selection when it came to taking enemy players out from range and it should not be a surprise if a lot of players ditch the HDR or AX50 when this new rifle is introduced. Looking at a short clip of this thing in action, it appears as though it has little to no recoil.
Keep in mind that it is not clear when these new guns are going to be added to the game. This could happen on June 3rd or sometimes through the duration of Season 4. Either way, there is a lot of new content on the horizon.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
