Halo 3 is Only Weeks Away From Testing According to 343 Industries

Get Ready to Finish the Fight

Halo 2 was only added to the Master Chief Collection on PC a few weeks ago but it would appear that 343 Industries now has its sights on pushing Halo 3 out of the door. It was up in the air whether or not it would be ODST or Halo 3 that would be released next. Now it seems as though fans will have Halo 3 to look forward to in the coming months.

Top 10 Last Generation Halo 3

The launch of Halo 2 onto PC was one of the bumpiest of the titles so far. While the release of Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved were relatively seamless, there were a considerable amount of technical issues that arose when Halo 2 arrived. These problems did not make the game unplayable by any stretch of the imagination, but they were a huge let down considering how well the launches of the previous Halo games were. Hopefully 343 Industries is going to be able to smooth everything out when Halo 3 is ready to make its PC debut.

Halo 3 is largely considered to be the best game of the original Halo series. A huge compliment when taking into consideration the other games that fall into that category. There is a very good chance that a majority of fans have purchased the Master Chief Collection with Halo 3 in mind.

The first stages of testing are set to kick off in June. From there the game will progress until it is deemed ready for release. There is no clear timetable for when Halo 3 is going to become available, but judging from the release schedule so far it is reasonable to expect to see it arrive sometime in August.

The Master Chief Collection is available for purchase on Steam were you can play Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Halo 2.
