Call of Duty: WWII Becomes Free to Download Tomorrow For PS Plus Users

A Strong Start to Summer

Just like every other month, PlayStation hands out a couple of free games to its PS Plus users. PS4 owners are going to be treated to a gem in Call of Duty: WWII for June. This largely forgotten entry into the long Call of Duty franchise has a lot to offer players who have grown tired of the modern combat or futuristic FPS games that dominate the market. There are some legitimate criticisms of the game, but there are still many more positives then there are negatives. When you are getting the game for free there is not a lot to complain about.

Call of Duty WWII - HERO

PlayStation has decided to release next month’s games a little bit early this time around and players will be able to download Call of Duty: WWII tomorrow on May 26th. Many have pointed out that the likely reason for this particular Call of Duty game to be selected for the free game of the month is that it is Memorial Day in the USA. For those living in Canada or the UK, this holiday is very similar to our Remembrance Day. This is an occasion that American’s set aside to pay respects to those who have served or died in the line of duty.

Many PlayStation fans will be happy to see that the selection of free games has improved tremendously when compared to what was offered in May. PlayStation usually has some very good titles that are free to download, but sometimes that isn’t always the case.

Call of Duty: WWII has a lot to offer in terms of variety. If you are into fast-paced multiplayer action, a strong single-player experience, or surviving waves of Nazi zombies with a couple of friends, then this is a deal that you will not want to miss out on.
