May the Fourth Be With You
The most recent Star Wars film The Rise of Skywalker is going to be added to Disney Plus much sooner than most fans were anticipating. Despite the blockbuster movie only releasing a few months ago, it looks like Disney is more than ready to push the movie into its subscription-based streaming service. Fans can expect to see the latest Star Wars movie on Disney Plus on May 4th. Better known as Star Wars Day. Disney is also adding the behind the scenes documentary of The Mandalorian on Star Wars Day as well. Needless to say that fans of the series are going to be very busy digesting a ton of sci-fi content.
The Rise of Skywalker has had mixed reviews at best. Some fans claimed that it was the worst of the latest trilogy which is really saying something considering how poorly the second movie was received by the Star War community. There are a lot of complaints about the last three Star Wars movies, however, the largest one has to be about the massive plot holes that are in its script. It is hard to knock the acting in the films, but also impossible to ignore some of the more “questionable” choices when it comes to character development and storytelling.
Regardless of what the community might think about it, it is still worth a watch. Who doesn’t like to look at lightsaber fights and massive space ships fighting one another? It looks as though most people are struggling to cope with the boredom that has come with the COVID-19 quarantine. This could be a great way to spend a day binge-watching Star Wars content.
Disney Plus users will have access to both The Mandalorian documentary and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on May 4th.
