Goes By the Name Loba
When Apex Legends first launched, it released with a distinct yet limited range of playable characters. Since then EA has done everything its power to offer more diversity in terms of choice and selection when it comes to the heroes that you will play as. The most recent addition to this roster is Loba. A new trailer has just released that gives us a brief understanding of her backstory. While it is still not clear what she is going to do in-game, judging from her fluff it is likely that Loba is going to take on the role of a more stealthy hero than one who goes in guns a-blazing.
Loba’s background is not the most original but is one that could hint at her playstyle. As a quick summary, her father is assassinated when she is a young girl, she turns to a life of crime to survive, now she ain’t nothing to mess with. The end.
Loba is expected to become available to players once Season 5 of Apex Legends goes live on May 12th. EA has done a relatively good job of keeping its fanbase invested by releasing new and exciting content. Loba is hopefully going to be the biggest takeaway from this season. New weapons and maps are always a great change of pace, but it is ultimately the characters that make or break a game.
Each hero that is present in Apex Legends will severely change how you approach certain situations. While everyone has access to the same amount of weapons, each character’s special ability can make the difference between victory and defeat. As we get closer to May 12th, expect to see more details about Loba.
