Shantae and the Seven Sirens Release Date Revealed

I Wantae That Shantae

The fifth Shantae game is a couple of months away, but already here for mobile gamers. It has had a strange release phase. In September 2019, Shantae and the Seven Sirens (Part 1) was released on Apple Arcade. Part 2 is available now on Apple Arcade as well, but for consoles and PC, the Shantae and the Seven Sirens release date is set for late in May. Today, we got a new taste of the game with a new trailer. The trailer tells of a Half-Genie Festival, with island girls dressed up in the fashion of Shantae, who they are likely celebrating.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens Release Date

This Half-Genie Festival brings Shantae and the gang to a magnificent paradise island, but there is a dark secret behind it. The teaser does not get much into the details of the story, but it shows off a bunch of new transformations that Shantae games are known for. One of them looks like a spiky tortuous that spins on its shell. Another is a Dig Dug-style drill. There are sure to be more, but let’s not spoil it for ourselves. The mobile version appears to be the full Shantae experience, as well as a card collection component, but until the console and PC versions come out, there is no way to tell if it lacks anything.

Voice actress and singer Christina Vee will be returning as Shantae and Risky Boots in Shantae and the Seven Sirens, hitting PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on May 28th.
