Squeeze Hero
I don’t think we give Ring Fit Adventure enough credit. It makes us work out and stay healthy, and it’s mad fun. In other parts of the world, Nintendo actually ran into shortages of the game. Early in the COVID-19 crisis, before it hit pandemic levels, it became a very useful item for Chinese citizens who were in self-isolation or quarantine. On March 26th, a new mode was added to the game, no doubt making it an even more desired game than it already was. Ring Fit Adventure Rhythm Mode will be keeping us moving in all sorts of new ways.
This mode comes with several songs to play along to including songs from Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The gameplay teaser makes it look kind of intimidating, but equally as fun. If the music and dance is more your speed than the base game, you should definitely give it a try. Hopefully, more tracks will be added to the library of music. I’m holding out for that Lost Woods dubstep remix. The rhythm mode update is completely free to play if you have the game and hardware.
The rhythm mode isn’t the only change in the free content update. In the base game, your Ring companion can now have a female voice. You can also change the language of Ring. Is anyone else’s dream of a disembodied Japanese woman’s voice cheering you on as you ab crunch monsters to death being fulfilled? Ring Fit Adventure is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch… if you can find it.
