New Operator and Weapons Have Been Added to Call of Duty: Warzone

New Guns Are Always a Welcome Sight

Call of Duty: Warzone has been the talk of the town for the past couple of weeks and it doesn’t look like its popularity is going to trail off anytime soon. Millions of players have flocked to Infinity Ward’s attempt at a battle royale game and have been thoroughly impressed. Warzone has just received a new update today that will be adding a handful of new weapons as well as a new operator. Rumor has it that next week new modes like duos or four/five-man squads will be added in too.

The new firearms that players will now have access to are the 725, .50 GS, and EBR-14. The 725 is an over-under shotgun that players could only previously use in the Gulag. The 725 has a much longer range than the other shotguns in Warzone. However, this is a Call of Duty game so don’t expect to be hitting anyone at long range with this thing. The .50 GS is, of course, the infamous Golden Eagle. This needs little introduction as everyone and their mum have heard or seen the weapon before. It is by no means the most optimal weapon around, but it sure is cool. Lastly, the EBR-14 is going to serve has another semi-automatic long-range rifle. All of these firearms will now be able to found around the map with various levels of attachments.

The new operator, Talon, is a tattoo riddled Coalition soldier who also comes with his trusty companion Indiana the dog. While the dog will not be running along with you in-game, your canine friend will appear anytime you perform a finishing move. Talon will also be available in vanilla Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s also free to play.
